i only missed one day not bad for my first week huh?

i bought a light fixture

so i took the plunge and purchased a light fixture this weekend. i was originally inspired by this one that jen ramos from made by girl had for sale on her web site.

it was originally in her previous home but i missed out. i didn’t cry for to long and started checking out overstock.com for another option and came across this lovely little number

and the price was not that bad either, but for some reason i could not bring myself to buy it so i continued the search. 

Well this weekend while catching up on my blogs i came across this lovely item in the home of mrs. chic at chic little house.

she not only had the light i wanted but she provided all the info for me to have one of my very own now.  i'm just waiting for it to arrive and my dad to help me install it.

365 day project

i just celebrated my 28^th birthday on thursday so to commemorate me nearing the end of my twenty’s i decided to start a 365 day project. i will be capturing the next 365 days of my life through photos. i hope this project will help me learn a lot more about myself and offer an opportunity to look back at all the wonderful things that happen throughout the year.  i really hope that you enjoy it and that i can keep up with taking a photo ever day. oh, great news I finally found my camera that’s been lost since october so ever shot you see wont be from my evo. 

really that much for a shower curtain?

i am in search for a shower curtain for my bathroom and ace’s bathroom (maybe?). so, through out my search i stumbled across this absolutely fabulous one for ace’s bathroom at anthropology and fell in love but the price tag nearly gave me a heart attack. can you believe it $118.00 and i almost bought it.

i have officially lost my mind !!!

but, I did find two lovely options that are more in my price range for my bathroom at target can’t really decide just yet but i love the color. i would be in heaven if I could find one that is a gray zebra print (it’s all that jersylicious that I watch). which one do you like?

busy, busy, busy

as the title states I have been quite busy with ace, work and a mini vacation (can you say south beach/ miami/ft. lauderdale) since my last post but i have accomplished a lot on my to do list.  Check out all the things i have checked off in my previous post.  i  still have some more things to do but fortunately with the arrival of summer i can get so much more done. i still have a few projects that are in progress so here is a little peek.
